Our newest hot and cold bottle-less water cooler has 4 times the storage capacity of our other 2-temp models - 6.3 gallons. Serves busy offices with up to 70 people. The taller 8 opening allows larger mugs and bottles easy access for refills. RO version comes with 100 GPD RO membrane. Choose models with Reverse Osmosis filtration for crystal clear water and the removal of minerals that cause scale deposits in coffeemakers and other fixtures. Use the Standard Filtration version for areas with softer water (under 5 grains of hardness), for fresh tasting water.

The final Stage for any PureWaterCooler, the Ozone Sanitizer produces micro-bubbles of chemical-free ozone into the cooler reservoir that kill
bacteria, viruses, mold, and mildew without altering the waters taste. Ozone is an oxidizing agent that is 1.5 times more powerful than chlorine and effective over a much wider range of microorganisms. Ozone kills viruses and bacteria faster than chlorine and other chemical agents and is free of chemical residues as it decomposes into a simple oxygen. Cleaning frequency and maintenance are also reduced.

Ultra Violet Sterilizer
|
Ultraviolet light kills 99.9% of harmful bacteria in point-of-use filter systems and is FDA approved for disinfecting filtered water. This UV stage may be used as the last stage on POU filter systems for well water in rural areas, or in towns and villages that have uncertain chlorination. A UV stage is available as a sub-assembly which can be added to an existing filter system. The easily replaceable bulb is housed in a stainless steel tube and has a 9000 hour life (over a year). Replacement lamps are available separately.

UV Sterilizer Lamp for use with Vertex Water Cooler
The UV lamp stays on continuously. As the water flows around the lamp, it is irradiated by the ultraviolet light. Water flow is restricted to .5 GPM to allow time for the UV light to be effective. The lamp slides into a quartz tube which is sealed from the water and a purple color shows through the plastic flow fittings while it is working. An alarm in the power-pack sounds when the bulb burns out. A 6-watt transformer powers the UV bulb and is prewired to the cooler.
All water-bearing materials in this water cooler comply with the Safe Water Drinking Act amendment of 1996, and are in compliance with NSF standard 61, section 9.
