The PT-4.0/PP is complete, ready to install, with instructions.  The 4-Stages are pre-assembled and tested.  The faucet, inlet water valve, drain saddle connection, storage tank valve, permeate pump, and color coded plastic tubing for undersink installation are all included.
Install anywhere with permeate pump

This model a uses a non-electric permeate pump which is placed after the flow restrictor in the brine discharge line. This recovers pressure energy from the brine and forces product water to the storage tank.This reduces the membrane back pressure and increases its efficiency. The tank pressure will be brought to 90% of the inlet pressure, (instead of 67%) thus increasing the flow from the faucet. In this system the normal autovalve is replaced by the permeate pump.

Use this model where the water pressure is marginal (30-45 psi) and/or the TDS is high, and there is no power available for a booster pump. Alternately, this permeate pump may be added to improve performance of an installed unit.
